My name is Fiona, and I am a wife and mother to one little girl.

I am a:

- Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula (Madriella)

- Registered nurse (RN, BScN)

- Lactation Consultant Intern (currently pursuing my IBCLC designation)

My journey to becoming a doula was born out of my own difficult birth and postpartum experience- which made me realize how important it is for every mother to feel cared for, supported, and truly seen during this life-changing time.

Postpartum Doula Services

The postpartum period can feel overwhelming! Asking for help is a sign of strength and courage. As your postpartum doula, my mission is to provide you with gentle, steady and nonjudgmental support as you transition into life with your new baby.

How can I help?

Gentle newborn care (feeding, diaper changes, bathing, soothing, etc.)
Allowing you to rest while caring for your baby
Support with breastfeeding, pumping and/or bottle feeding
Providing guidance about postpartum recovery
Assistance with older children
Light housework (laundry, dishes, food prep etc.)
Running errands
Evidence based information to help you make informed + confident choices
Offering resources + connections in the community

Rate: $30/hr (no tax). Minimum 3 hours per booking.

Location: West end Ottawa (Kanata, Stittsville, Carleton Place, Almonte, etc.).

*Please note: Due to allergies, I am unable to provide support to families with dogs and cats.

Hours of Service

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays

3:30pm- 9:30pm

Saturdays

9:30am- 1:30pm

Sundays

3:30pm-7:30pm
